New Ideas...

I've recently aquired some new gear that has been spurring my creativity, and I've got several ideas for different upcoming shoots. I have an intervalometer which will allow me to do time lapse and star trails, and I have a pretty cool location or 2 in mind for that: there's a wind farm that I have photographed before near Randolph, WI, but I've never been there at night. It's completely out in the country, away from any cities or light pollution, so it should provide a great view of the stars with some interesting foreground. I just need to plan for a clear night...

I also have a neutral density filter that reduces the light coming into the camera by 1000x (ND 3.0), which will allow really long exposures, so that should help make some great light trails of traffic at night. I have a few ideas on where to shoot in the downtown area, but there's one concept I have seen done by a photographer in Singapore on 500px.com, and I think it might be interesting to try it out, but it's all about location. I'm excited to keep exploring and to try it all out...
